Odor Port

This odor port is used in our head-fixed olfactometer and behavior rig. There are male luer connections providing a perpendicular flow path for stimulus delivery across the nose. The outlet opposite the nose is designed to fit tightly around a Honeywell AWM3300V flow sensor to capture respiration.

Head-fixed Olfactometer Rig

Here we provide current documentation for our head-fixed olfactometer and behavior rig, including photos, parts lists, and circuit assembly. This rig enables delivery of multicomponent odor mixtures with high temporal precision while monitoring orofacial, postural, and respiratory responses to odor stimuli.
